LIBERIAN SENATE CONFIRMS THREE NOMINEES

Date:

The Liberian senate recently confirmed three nominees of President Joseph Boakai, including Sylvester Grisby as Minister of State, Boima Kamara as Minister of Finance, and Dorbor Jallah as head of the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA).

The confirmation of these nominees came after thorough vetting and deliberations by the Senate. President Boakai expressed his gratitude to the Senate for their swift and efficient confirmation process, and he expressed his confidence in the newly confirmed officials to serve their country with integrity and dedication.

Sylvester Grisby brings a wealth of experience in public service, and his appointment as Minister of State is a testament to his leadership skills and commitment to the development of Liberia.

Boima Kamara, the new Minister of Finance, once served in the same capacity during the administration of Pres. Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf. He is expected to be crucial in managing the country’s finances and ensuring fiscal responsibility.

Dorbor Jallah’s confirmation as the head of the Liberia Revenue Authority reflects his expertise in tax administration and his ability to drive revenue collection for the country.

With the confirmation of these nominees, President Joseph Boakai is optimistic about the future of Liberia and is confident that his administration will continue to make strides in promoting economic growth and development.
