POLICE INVESTIGATING MAN FOR ATTEMPTING TO SELL GIRLFRIEND FOR US$10K

Liberian Police in Todee District outside of Monrovia are investigating a man believed to be in his 30s, for attempting to sell his girlfriend.

Suspect, Henry Rennie, according to ELBC Correspondent in the area, attempted selling his girlfriend for US$10k to a local businessman.

The businessman, James Zarwolo, rejected the deal and subsequently alerted the Police on the matter. During the ongoing investigation, suspect Rennie admitted to the crime.

He told Police he decided to sell his girlfriend because she was cheating on him. Henry Rennie said he was angry that his girlfriend would be in another relationship.
