REPRESENTATIVE KOLUBAH WRITES LETTER TO CHURCH, COMPLAINS ABOUT PRESIDENT BOAKAI

Date:

MONROVIA – In a bold move, Montserrado District Number 10 Representative Yekeh Y. Kolubah has written a letter to the Pastor-In-Charge of Effort Baptist Church in Paynesville, Montserrado County, Republic of Liberia, expressing concerns about President Joseph Nyumah Boakai’s behavior and questioning his adherence to Christian principles.

In his letter dated February 12, 2024, Representative Kolubah highlights the importance of leading an exemplary life as a deacon, citing President Boakai’s failure to fulfill his campaign promise of ensuring all counties are represented in his cabinet. He accuses the President of deceiving the public and not making independent decisions, particularly in the case of appointments related to the AFL women.

Representative Kolubah urges the church to hold President Boakai accountable for his actions, suggesting that he be expelled from the church to preserve its reputation and integrity. He emphasizes the need for leaders to listen to the people they represent and act in their best interests.

The letter, written with a tone of concern and determination, reflects Representative Kolubah’s unwavering commitment to upholding moral and ethical standards in leadership. It serves as a call to action for both the church and the President to reflect on their responsibilities and actions in accordance with Christian values.

As this story unfolds, the response from the Pastor-In-Charge of Effort Baptist Church and President Boakai’s reaction to the allegations made by Representative Kolubah will be closely monitored. Stay tuned for updates on this developing situation.
