Date:

LIBERIA – Unity Party Senator Prince K. Moye donates one four-door Nissan V8 Pickup and a laptop to the Unity Party Bong County local branch, on the occasion of the first harvesting of rice covering over 500 acres of farmland in Manowainsu, Bong County.

Speaking at a brief ceremony on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the party’s local headquarters in Gbarnga, the Bong County Senator indicated that the provision of logistical support is part of his continuous commitment to identify with the party in times of need.

Senator Moye, a very loyal and dedicated National Executive Member of the Unity Party has vowed to use every fiber of his being to ensure the election of Amb. Joseph Nyuma Boakai as President of Liberia in 2023.

The Senator who is an avowed critic of the CDC administration said, “We are glad to contribute to any process that will lead to rescuing this country from the failed CDC-led government in order to install a government that will prioritize the wellbeing of Liberians”.

The Senator, while handing over the vehicle and laptop, also promised to provide motorbikes to each of the 7 districts immediately after the counties restructuring exercise.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the national leadership, the party’s National Secretary General, Amos Tweh thanked Senator Moye for the donation and called on the party’s local leadership to ensure the logistics are used for the intended purpose.

SG Tweh, “well, we are glad that we have a Senator and very loyal partisan who often intervenes when the party is most needed. The vehicle and laptop came at the time the party is preparing to conduct counties restructuring exercise which will require the use of vehicle, laptop, and other logistics”.

The Secretary-General called on partisans of UP in Bong county to make use of the vehicle and motorbikes when provided, to facilitate meetings and other forms of outreach in order to win the hearts of Bongese for JNB.

Meanwhile, an array of party leaders including Vice-chair Whroway Bryant, SG Amos Tweh, and the Bong County leadership participated in the first harvesting of rice covering over 500 acres of farmland in Manowainsu, Bong County. The rice farm, owned and operated by Senator Moye is one of the largest in the county which signifies the Senator’s determination to inspire Liberians to “grow what they eat” or go back to the soil, a major component of Joseph Boakai’s Agriculture program encapsulated in the development concept with the acronym AREST – Agriculture, Road, Education, Sanitation/Health and Tourism.
