SHOCKING INCIDENT: 17-YEAR-OLD MOTHER ATTEMPTS TO ROAST BABY; COMMUNITY RALLIES FOR SUPPORT

Date:

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – A shocking incident has left a community in Barnersville, Montserrado County in disbelief as a 17-year-old mother allegedly attempted to roast her own infant in a coal-pot, sparking outrage and concern over the welfare of the newborn.

The distressing scene was recently discovered by a child who came seeking pieces of charcoal, only to find the baby girl placed in the fire. The quick actions of this brave individual saved the baby from further harm.

The infant, born March 2, 2024 is currently receiving medical care at the John Kennedy Memorial Hospital, with the grandmother by her side. She pleads for prayers and support in covering the hospital bills and essential items such as diapers, baby milk, and feeding bottles. The grandmother’s appeal for assistance underscores the urgent need for solidarity and compassion in this harrowing situation.

As the baby approaches her one-month milestone amid this tragedy, the call for community aid and empathy becomes all the more crucial. The gravity of this incident serves as a stark reminder of the vulnerability of innocent lives and the imperative need for collective support during times of crisis.
