UL STUDENTS PRESIDENT, CHINESE PROFESSOR PAY COURTESY CALL ON AMOS SAWYER COLLEGE DEAN

MONROVIA – The President of the University of Liberia (UL) 103rd graduating class, Mr. Amos Kollie on Monday paid a courtesy visit to the Dean of Prof. Amos C. Sawyer College of Social Sciences and Humanities, Dr. Josephus M. Gray to express his admiration about the levels of improvement at the college and at the same time to encourage the Dean to maintain focus and eliminate distractions.

On the same day, a Chinese Professor and Coordinator of the Chinese Confucius Institute at the University of Liberia, head of a four-man high-powered delegation also paid a courtesy visit to the Dean of Amos C. Sawyer College.

During the visit, Mr. Kollie praised the Dean and the academic team of the College for the reactivation of the undergraduate thesis oral defense and presentation in front of esteemed professors and then described the thesis exercise as a new trajectory of the undergraduate programs at the University which should be emulated by other colleges.

During the visit, Dr. Gray presented a signed author’s copy of his recent book titled: The Effect of Diplomacy: Liberia-U.S.-China’s Triangular Relations published by the American tech gaint Amazon Publishing Company. https://www.amazon.com/Effect-Diplomacy-Liberia-Triangular-Relations/dp/1665522550.

The 580-page book is on sale in 162 countries across the world with Chinese, French, Spanish, and Italian versions.

The book also has audio. Copy of the book is deposited in the Congress of Library in Washington, D.C., USA, after it passed the U.S. National Copyright Office quality check and international standard.
