PRESIDENT BOAKAI WELCOMES SUPREME COURT RULINGS ON GOVERNMENT NOMINATIONS

Date:

MONROVIA, LIBERIA  – Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has expressed his approval of the recent rulings made by the Honorable Supreme Court of Liberia concerning nominations to various government institutions.

In a statement, President Boakai reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to upholding the rule of law, emphasizing that he will fully honor and abide by the decisions made by the High Court. He believes that adherence to the rule of law is crucial for strengthening institutions and fostering a vibrant democracy in Liberia.

Highlighting the significance of this principle, President Boakai pointed out that it is a cornerstone of the government’s ARREST AGENDA. This agenda prioritizes Agriculture, Roads, Rule of Law, Education, Sanitation, and Tourism as key areas for development and improvement in the country.

The President emphasized that the Supreme Court’s rulings not only validate the government’s commitment to the rule of law but also establish an important benchmark for administrative actions and procedures. He encourages all government institutions and officials to respect and adhere to the rulings, reinforcing the importance of accountability, fairness, and justice in the country’s governance system.
