FORMER BONG REPRESENTATIVE CANDIDATE PRESENTS $70K EARTH-MOVING EQUIPMENT TO CITIZENS OF PANTA DISTRICT

Date:

BELEMUE TOWN – Former Bong County Electoral District #4 Representative candidate, Quanuquanei Alfred Karmue, has presented brand new earth-moving equipment worth over $70,000 to the citizens of Panta District.

This initiative by Karmue is part of his developmental agenda focusing on road construction and agricultural development. It reflects his vision of fostering growth through infrastructure and agriculture in Panta District, Bong County, and Liberia at large.

During the presentation ceremony held in Belemue Town on May 25, 2024, Karmue emphasized that this contribution aligns with his broader goal of district development. He outlined plans to ensure that roads and farms are established across the district, promising increased visibility for both agricultural and infrastructural projects.

“We are working on our plan to ensure roads and farms are opened across the district. This effort is gradually rolling out, and we will enhance our agricultural work and road development across Electoral District #4,” Karmue stated.

He also announced that additional earth-moving equipment would soon be arriving in the district to further boost development efforts. He expressed confidence that these machines would significantly contribute to improving the lives of Panta District citizens and the broader Bong County community.

Karmue took the opportunity to thank the district’s citizens for their support during the 2023 general and presidential elections. Despite being defeated by incumbent Representative Robert Flomo Wombah, Karmue affirmed his commitment to continuing development projects in the district.

“Even though I was not successful in the 2023 election, it has not deterred me from appreciating and working for the people of this district,” Karmue said. He reiterated his focus on road and agricultural development as key priorities for Panta District and beyond.

During the event, Karmue also awarded certificates to individuals who supported his election campaign, recognizing their efforts and loyalty.

The citizens of Panta District expressed their excitement and gratitude for the new equipment. They highlighted that Karmue’s gesture is unprecedented in the district’s history, noting his continuous contributions despite his electoral defeat.

“Mr. Karmue is a true developer of Panta District. He is also constructing a modern state-of-the-art medical health center in Garmu Town, worth over $250,000,” the citizens revealed. The Neyor & Fungbeh D. Karmue Medical Health Center, once completed, will offer quality health services to residents of Bong, Nimba, and even the Republic of Guinea.

Additionally, the citizens noted that Karmue’s large farm in the Zota administrative district is providing job opportunities for many, further underscoring his commitment to the district’s development.

Karmue’s efforts and continuous investment in Panta District reflect his dedication to improving the community, emphasizing the importance of infrastructure and agriculture in regional development.
