MADAM BROH REJECTS RICE SAGA PROBE, WARNS OF LEGAL ACTION

MONROVIA – Former Director General of the General Services Agency (GSA), Mary Broh, has issued a strong warning to the Assets Recovery Team, declaring her intention to take legal action if she is unfairly targeted in the ongoing investigation into the controversial rice distribution saga that allegedly occurred under her leadership.

In a sharp response to an official summons from the Assets Recovery Team, Broh made her position clear during an appearance on the OK Morning Rush radio show on Thursday, April 17, 2025. “If the Assets Recovery Team plays with me, I will sue them. I am not going anywhere,” she said emphatically.

Broh’s remarks reflect mounting tensions surrounding the probe, which seeks to uncover whether there was any misconduct or mismanagement during the handling of rice supplies meant for public distribution while she headed the GSA. Though details of the investigation remain limited, her refusal to cooperate, at least for now, adds a dramatic twist to the case and raises questions about the transparency and fairness of the recovery team’s approach.
