MONROVIA – Mr. Felle, a longtime diplomat and educator, has denied a series of allegations circulating on social media and says he has taken steps to protect his family as the matter is investigated by police.
In a statement circulated by Mr. Felle’s camp, posts on Facebook attributed to Darkemue Dolo and accounts linked to him claim Mr. Felle is “in hiding” and wanted by state authorities over allegations of character defamation and improper relationships.
Mr. Felle’s statement calls the claims “false, untrue and misleading,” and says they form part of an ongoing, deliberate campaign by Mr. Dolo and his surrogates to damage his reputation.
According to the statement, the dispute began after a woman identified as Comfort, described as a former partner of Mr. Dolo, met with Mr. Felle to complain about her ex‑partner’s conduct, including an allegation that he had impregnated a teenage student. The statement says Mr. Felle offered to speak with Mr. Dolo to address the complaint and that Mr. Felle and Comfort briefly rode together on a motorbike within the Swagger Island community before parting ways. Mr. Felle’s account says Mr. Dolo, allegedly motivated by jealousy, later accused them of having an affair and engaged surrogates to post insulting and defamatory material about Mr. Felle online.
The statement further asserts that Mr. Dolo targeted Mr. Felle’s children at United Christian Academy (UCA), including an allegation that one of Mr. Felle’s sons was unjustly punished. As a result, Mr. Felle informed the UCA administration that he was withdrawing his children effective immediately, citing threats and the conduct of Mr. Dolo toward the family. A copy of Mr. Felle’s communication to the UCA administration was attached to the statement.
The release also accuses Representative Jerry K. Yogboh of influencing the LNP to pursue Mr. Felle based on what it describes as a deliberate lie by his communications officer, Mr. Dolo. The statement says accusations attributed to Mr. Felle — that the representative bought votes during the recent presidential and representative elections are false, misleading and a calculated attempt to damage Mr. Felle’s character.
Mr. Felle also denied social media claims that he had impregnated a minor identified as Tonia and refused to support the child, and that he had urged an adult woman named Candy not to terminate an alleged pregnancy believed to be his. The statement reiterates that those accusations are false and says Mr. Felle would not engage in such conduct.
The matter is currently before the Zone‑4 police station on the LPRC Japan Freeway and, according to the statement, was scheduled for further action this morning.
Zone‑4 authorities have not yet released an official finding.
Mr. Felle’s statement asks the public to consider his camp’s account “void of politics” and to refrain from circulating unverified allegations while the police investigation is ongoing.
Requests for comment to Mr. Dolo and other individuals named in the social media posts had not been confirmed at the time of publication.
