SAM JACKSON APPEARS AT LIBERIA NATIONAL POLICE AS PERSON OF INTEREST IN DEATH OF WIFE TONI JACKSON

MONROVIA – Samuel Jackson on Saturday appeared at the headquarters of the Liberia National Police to cooperate with investigators after being named a person of interest in the investigation into the death of his wife, Toni Jackson, a South African national.

Jackson arrived at the police headquarters at approximately 11:00 a.m., where he presented himself to investigators for questioning regarding the circumstances surrounding the death of Mrs. Jackson. Authorities have not announced any formal charges, but say the investigation remains ongoing.

The death of Toni Jackson has sparked significant public attention in Liberia and beyond, especially given her status as a citizen of South Africa. Law enforcement authorities are now working to determine the exact circumstances that led to her sudden death.

Police spokesman Sam Collins confirmed to reporters that the matter has drawn the attention of South African diplomatic officials in Liberia.

According to Collins, representatives of the South African Embassy visited the mortuary on Friday evening to view the body of the deceased as part of their interest in the ongoing investigation.

“The South African Embassy officials were at the mortuary last evening and have already viewed the body,” Collins told journalists while providing an update on the case.

The involvement of the embassy reflects the seriousness of the case and the international dimension arising from the victim’s nationality.

Meanwhile, Liberian journalist Varflay Kamara disclosed that the story has also begun attracting media attention in South Africa.

Kamara revealed that a journalist based in South Africa and assigned to the office of President Cyril Ramaphosa contacted him seeking details about the circumstances surrounding Toni Jackson’s death.

The inquiry suggests that the matter is now gaining visibility within South African media circles as authorities there monitor developments in Liberia.

Investigators in Liberia are expected to question Jackson as they attempt to reconstruct the events that preceded his wife’s death.

Authorities have indicated that medical examinations and other investigative procedures will play a crucial role in determining the cause of death.

Police have not yet released details regarding preliminary findings, but officials say they are committed to conducting a thorough and transparent investigation.

Jackson’s appearance at the police headquarters marks a significant step in the case as investigators continue gathering information to establish the facts behind the tragic death of Toni Jackson.
