GRAND CAPE MOUNT COUNTY, LIBERIA -With support from Bea Mountain Mining Corporation, the Liberia Medical and Dental Association, in collaboration with the Grand Cape Mount County Health Team, is conducting a two-day free medical and surgical outreach in Grand Cape Mount County.
The outreach, which started on September 24 and will end on September 25, 2026, began at the Sinje Comprehensive Health Center.
Held under the theme “Healing Together: Promoting Health, Hope and Humanity,” the outreach brought together medical professionals and local health authorities to provide direct medical care, consultations, and selected surgical services to beneficiaries during the two-day exercise.
Speaking during the opening, the County Health Officer of Grand Cape Mount and Medical Doctor Samson Wollo said the initiative is intended to expand access to essential medical and surgical services for workers, residents across the county including Robertsport, and people from nearby communities, especially those with limited access to healthcare.
On the first day at the Sinje health facility, the medical and surgical team will serve workers and residents in Robertsport and surrounding communities.
The medical outreach is expected to continue on Saturday in Robertsport City and aims to prioritize people who may face difficulties accessing regular healthcare services due to distance, cost, or other barriers.
The free medical and surgical outreach is expected to significantly improve healthcare delivery and bring relief to hundreds of citizens in Grand Cape Mount C ounty.
