OVER PUBLIC EXAM FAILURE CRITICISMS; PRO-GOV’T RADIO PRESENTER PREDICTS MAIN OPPOSITION PARTY LEADER BOAKAI’S “DEATH”

Date:

MONROVIA – Pro-government radio presenter, Abraham Wheon, has predicted what he termed the political death of main opposition Unity Party (UP) standard bearer, former Vice President Joseph N. Boakai (JNB).

Wheon, in reaction to multiple criticisms from mostly UP partisans and supporters of the presidential quest of JNB, over the talk radio presenter’s failure in a public exam administered by the Liberia National Bar Association (LNBA) intended to certify law school graduates for official legal practice in courts within the bailiwick of the country, retorted Thursday, 17 August 2023, that Boakai will not be president of Liberia, indicating that the former VP, who he referred to as a “dead man walking”, political life span has just 60 days left.

Since news broke Wednesday that Wheon had flunked the Liberia National Bar Association administered exam, with a mark of 61%, social media has been abuzz, with supporters of Boakai and the Unity Party taunting the pro-government radio presenter, who is noted for mudslinging the UP and its standard bearer, in the favor of incumbent President George Weah.

A ranking member of Boakai’s campaign team, Martin K.N. Kollie, wrote on Facebook that report of Wheon’s failure in the LNBA exam had landed in JNB’s Research Center, of which Kollie was recently appointed chairman by Bokai.

He pointed out that Wheon, who he referred to as a flunky and a weakling that badmouths UP standard bearer Boakai on a daily basis, spent six years in law school only to have miserably failed his first attempt at the Bar Exam.

But, barely a day later, had Wheon himself also taken to social media using his official Facebook handle, referring to Boakai in a condescending manner.

“Me failing A Bar Exam for obvious reason on the first try does no harm to the Country because I must pass before I get to be called A Lawyer and enter the Court Room but for a sickling JNB with hidden medical details to be voted by a bunch of angry, vindictive, and useful idiots, amounts to a catastrophe that undermines democracy and would plunge this country into the irreparable damage that we all will have to face,” wrote Wheon, who vowed that as long as he’s behind the microphone at his pro-government Freedom FM radio station, the UP standard bearer will never be president of Liberia.

He continued: “I will still be called a Lawyer even if I fail three or more times but Boakai will not be Liberia’s President because his political demise life span has just 60 days left. I am strong. I am Godsent, I am Prospective Liberian Lawyer.”

“Liberia at least can be called a ‘Footballing President Nation’ but Never can my beloved Liberia be called a ‘Dead Man Walking President Nation’”, Wheon emphasized.
