LIBERIA: “NO SECOND ROUND” – CDC CHAMPAIGN SPOKESMAN GBALA SAYS LIBERIA NEEDS A LEADER LIKE WEAH

Date:

By Zack Gibson

MONROVIA – The governing Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) National Campaign spokesperson, Cllr. Kanio Gba Gbala, has declared that Liberia’s ensuing presidential election will not go into run-off, inferring that Liberians will in the first-round overwhelmingly vote incumbent President George Weah, who he noted, is the kind of leader the country needs right now.

“You need a leader who is physically and intellectually fit and agile,” Gbala said of President Weah, while disclosing that following a full day of campaign related activities yesterday, the Liberian chief executive rose up early today ready for the day’s activities.

“Even after a full day of activities yesterday in Margibi and going as far as Bong Mines and staying late into the night. I woke up this morning to a very active and bubbling President George Weah and could not resist the urge to take a picture,” the CDC Campaign spokesman wrote minutes ago on his official Facebook handle.

He told Liberians that they are blessed to currently have as their leader President Weah, who he described as a young, sound, energetic and people-centered leader.
