UNITED STATES EMBASSY AND AME UNIVERSITY OPEN AMERICAN SHELF TO FOSTER KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE

Date:

MONROVIA, LIBERIA – The United States Embassy Chargé d’Affaires, Catherine Rodriguez, joined Dr. Alvin Attah, the president of AME University, in inaugurating an American Shelf at the African Methodist Episcopal University (AMEU) library in Monrovia. This initiative aims to provide students and the broader community with valuable resources to learn about the United States and develop new skills.

The newly established American Shelf offers both physical and online resources, catering to students, faculty, and the general public. It serves as a hub for knowledge and collaboration, facilitating the exchange of ideas and expertise between the people of the United States and Liberia.

American Spaces, like the American Shelf at AME University, play a crucial role in promoting cultural understanding and educational opportunities. They offer a welcoming environment for individuals eager to explore new paths, expand their horizons, and deepen their understanding of various topics related to the United States.

Whether you’re a student looking to enhance your academic journey or a curious individual seeking to broaden your knowledge, everyone is warmly invited to visit the American Shelf at AME University. It serves as a gateway to a wealth of information and learning opportunities, fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutual understanding between the United States and Liberia.

The collaboration between the United States Embassy and AME University underscores the importance of investing in education and cultural exchange. By providing access to these resources, they are empowering individuals to acquire new skills, pursue their passions, and contribute to the development of their communities and the broader society.
