LIBERIA POLICE ARREST KEY SUSPECT IN AMANDA NEBO’S MURDER AT BARNESVILLE JUNCTION

MONROVIA – The Liberia National Police have made a significant breakthrough in the investigation of Amanda Nebo’s murder at Barnesville Junction on Sunday, April 13, 2024. The police have arrested a key suspect who has admitted his involvement in the crime and provided information leading to additional suspects.

“We can confirm that we have arrested one of the key suspects in Amanda Nebo’s murder,” stated Inspector General of Police, Col Gregory Coleman. “The suspect has confessed to his involvement and has also provided us with names of other individuals who were involved in the crime.”

The Police are actively pursuing the additional suspects based on the information provided by the arrested individual. “We are making significant progress in the investigation, and we are hopeful that within a day or two, we will have the rest of the suspects in police custody,” added the Police spokesperson.

The arrest of the key suspect marks a crucial development in the case and demonstrates the Police’s commitment to bringing the perpetrators to justice. The Liberia National Police continue to urge anyone with information related to the murder to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
