WASSCE EXAMS CONDUCTED LATE NIGHT IN RIVERCESS COUNTY DUE TO DELAYED TEST ARRIVAL

Date:

RIVERCESS CO., LIBERIA – In an unusual turn of events, senior students in Rivercess County were seen taking their West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) late into the night. According to journalist Eric Opa Doue, the students were observed at 9 PM at Yerpah Town Public School, diligently working on their exams.

This nighttime testing session was necessitated by a significant delay in the arrival of the exam materials. Examiners on site confirmed that the tests, which were supposed to commence earlier in the day, did not arrive on schedule, forcing them to push the examination to a much later time.

The WASSCE is a critical examination for students in the region, as it determines their eligibility for tertiary education and professional opportunities. The late-night exam session, though unusual, was conducted with the utmost seriousness and adherence to examination protocols, ensuring that all students had a fair chance to complete their tests.

Parents and guardians of the students expressed concern over the late timing but commended the students and examiners for their resilience and dedication. Education authorities in RiverCess County have been urged to investigate the cause of the delay and take measures to prevent such occurrences in the future, ensuring that students can sit for their exams at the scheduled times.

The incident highlights the challenges faced by educational institutions in the region and underscores the need for improved logistics and planning to support students during critical examination periods.
