Liberia bleeds
and the world can see!
The rich grow fat,
while the poor can’t breathe.
Leaders in suits,
their hands are red,
stealing the rice
while the children beg bread.
Illicit drugs flow through the midnight air,
Our youth destroyed
and they don’t even care.
Cartels in power,
corruption in place,
smiles of betrayal
masking disgrace.
But hear me now
a storm will rise!
Truth will burn
through their crooked lies.
Liberia’s people,
you are the flame,
together we’ll stand,
together reclaim!
No mansion, no money,
no power, no wall,
will silence the people
when justice calls.
