MONROVIA – Liberia’s representative in the 2023-24 edition of the CAF Champions League, LISCR FC, have touched down in Sierra Leone’s second-largest city, Bo Waterside, for their preliminary round first leg match against that country’s champions, Bo Rangers FC, Smart News Liberia has been reliably informed.
The “Shipping Boys”, who travelled by road, arrived about a little over two hours ago, according to a dispatch.
LISCR FC is poised to meet face-to-face with Sierra Leone’s giants Bo Rangers on this Saturday, 19 August 2023, at the home side’s own playing pitch, the Southern Arena Stadium.
The Liberian champions are traveling with a 39-man delegation comprising 23 players, nine members of the club’s technical staff, and five administrative staffers. The delegation is headed by Liberia Football Association’s Executive Committee member, Cyrus Yeanay.
