MONROVIA – The Liberia National Police (LNP) has confirmed the arrest of 23-year-old Malison Garpeh, a resident of Robertsville, White Plains, Montserrado County, who had been on the run after allegedly murdering his six-month pregnant girlfriend and her daughter.
Garpeh is accused of killing Promise Bowah, age 21, who was six months pregnant, along with her six-year-old daughter, Faith Davies, on Friday, September 27, 2024. The tragic incident occurred at their home, after which the suspect fled to an undisclosed location, sparking a police manhunt.
After days of intense search, the LNP apprehended Garpeh on Monday, September 30, 2024. He is currently in police custody and undergoing interrogation as part of an ongoing investigation.
