BUCHANAN, GRAND BASSA COUNTY – Several citizens of Juah’s Town Community, in Grand Bassa County, have bestowed upon the Director of the Port of Buchanan, Mr. Siokin Civicus Barsi-Giah, what they called a befitting honor for his dedicated service to communities within Grand Bassa County and to the county in general.
Barsi-Giah, a communication specialist, received the honor on Tuesday, while in Juah’s Town on an engagement visitation to woo citizens of the area to later this year on 10 October vote incumbent President George Weah, who the Buchanan Port Director refers to as “Great Man Walking” and “Born to succeed”.
He’s of the belief that President Weah is ‘Liberia’s Miracle Child’ and the man who does the unusual, for which he (President Weah) and his vice presidential running-mate, Madam Jewel Howard-Taylor should be re-elected and given a second term mandate.
At an elaborate program held on Tuesday, 29 August 2023, in Juah’s Town, Roberts’ Street, Buchanan City, Grand Bassa County, the Bassa citizens, who presented a certificate of honor to the Buchanan Port Director, asserted that Barsi-Giah was deserving of such accolade due to being serviceable, dedicated and committed to rendering communities within Grand Bassa, as well as to the county, what they termed sacrificial services.
The Bassa citizens’ certificate of honor presented to Barsi-Giah, was signed by Juah’s Town Community Secretary General, Levi Ross, and approved by the Community’s Chairman, Mr. Jerry S. Bahway respectively.
Meanwhile, Juah’s Town Community citizens and residents, who showered praises on the Director of the Port of Buchanan, have vowed to support President Weah’s re-election bid.
