MARGIBI COUNTY, LIBERIA – The Resident Judge of the 13th Judicial Circuit in Kakata, Margibi, Her Honor Victoria Worlobah Duncan, has ruled suspending trial in the case Republic of Liberia v. Quita Dolo and others.
The ruling of the Judge followed information provided by Defense lawyers that Officer Myron Swen of the Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency (LDEA) had tampered with Jurors.
According to Defense Lawyers, DEA Officer Swen intercepted Jurors as they returned from the washroom on June 2, 2026. According to eye witnesses, LDEA Officer Swen told the Jurors that Special Agent Joe I. Logan and Agen Lovette Flowers of the LDEA are guilty and that the Jurors should return a guilty verdict against the said Officers who arrested Quita Dolo with drugs seized $10,000 offered them as bribe. According to Judge Duncan, the allegations are grave and casts a cloud over the credibility of the trial. Meanwhile, Judge Duncan has ordered a full scale investigation to be held in open court.
