MONROVIA – A delegation of six senior officers from the Liberia National Police (LNP), led by Police Commissioner Ambrues M. Nebo, has departed for Accra, Ghana, to participate in a high-profile, week-long training program aimed at building their capacities. According to a police press release issued today, the training, which is taking place at the West Africa Regional Training Center in Accra, Ghana, is sponsored by the US Embassy. It brings together participants from Liberia, Togo, Ghana, Cape Verde, Senegal, and Guinea-Bissau.
The participants are being trained in Executive Leadership and Major Case Management.
The team departed Monrovia on Sunday, May 19, 2024, through the Roberts International Airport in Margibi County.
The LNP delegation includes Commissioner of Police for Administration Dr. Ambrues M. Nebo, Commissioner Emmanuel Doe Jlikan, Assistant Commissioner of Police for CSD, Intel, and Interpol Rafell A. Wilson, Assistant Commissioner of Police Varlee A. Sheriff, Assistant Commissioner of Police for WACPS Susie Telleh-Bility, and CSD Commander for the Monrovia Region Superintendent Kendricks Doe.
The West Africa Regional Training Center provides law enforcement instruction to combat transnational organized crimes in West Africa. This initiative is a collaboration between the US Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) and the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) program.
