LIBERIA – Mr. Macifierran Momo Jibba, a former aide to former President Charles Taylor, is dead.
The cause of his death is not known up to press time. Bull Dog, as he was commonly called, came to prominence when he served as an aide to notorious National Patriotic Front of Liberia (NPFL) warlord and former Liberian President Charles Taylor.
He was recruited as a child soldier for the rebel National Patriotic Front of Liberia (NPFL). As 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing over 300 pounds, made him suitable to serve as Taylor’s chief bodyguard.
He was accused of committing crimes during the height of the Liberian civil war and was amongst several Taylor’s supporters who were placed under UN sanctions.
Jibba was born in 1972 and was married to Tanneh Kojo.
