Bishop Prof. Rudolph Q. Kwanue writes
I am happy and grateful to announce that today is our day, both all of us within and outside.
On a very brief note, I met my darling wife – Mama Rita, my only lifetime friend and lover on January 2, 2021, in our village, Beo, Gbenelay town, Nimba County, Liberia.
Then, Mama Rita’s house was rightly located behind my window, and that availed me the rich unique opportunity of spying on her in almost every second, just to see and admire her. And I must confess that it was indeed a fantastic era of window love.
Back then, whenever Mama Rita entered the town from their farm, I would quickly recognize her by the way she walked and spoke, and quickly, I would prepare myself, knowing that the only angel is around.
While January 2, 2024 will mark our 22 years of traditional marriage, today, November 28, is our 8 years of marital bliss, since our Christian union. And co-incidentally, November 28, also marks my bishopric consecration day.
So far, we have successfully made a positive life experience history, and we are blessed with 5 handsome male children.
Rudolph Jr. will be 21 by January 1, Abel is 18, Timothy, 16, Daniel 8, and Happy Zlahnkerwon is 2 years old.
Two of our sons, Rudolph Jr. and Abel are already in the university, and we are so far successful in having a church, a high school, several Christian organizations, a university, Bible college, a global family, and lots of properties in our town.
We actually started on a very humble note, and we remained in abject poverty for a period of 16 years as a couple, but our testimony today is that God is faithful to his children.
Today, our struggle is over because God has graciously smiled on us. And this is why I constantly boast, saying, Only God!
Congratulations and happy wedding anniversary to my baby girl and myself!
This is just the beginning of our joyous journey as a couple. For God have more than we expected!
