GRAND KRU CITIZENS WILL VOTE WEAH, CHIE AND KOFFA IN OCTOBER ELECTIONS – SAYS DOE

Date:

LIBERIA – Former Students leader at the state-run University of Liberia says there will not be any campaigning activities in Grand Kru County for President George Weah, Senate Pro-Tempore Albert T. Chie, and Representative Cllr. J. Fonati Koffa for this year’s general and presidential elections.

Hanson T. Doe described the three men as “three Hebrew brothers,” noting that based on the level of developmental projects initiated by the three sons of the county, the citizens have resolved to overwhelmingly vote for them on a white ballot in October of this year

According to him, Grand Kru County was described as “Grand Walking County” is now assembled for vehicles and there are countless developmental projects in the county since the insertion of the Coalition for Democratic Change government in 2018

The former student’s leader and rights activate noted Grand Kru county has experienced tangible developmental projects since the insertion of the CDC government in 2018, saying the re-elections bid of the three Hebrew Brothers is a done duel by the people of Grand Kru County

He named some of the projects implemented by Senator Albert T. Chie and Representative Fonati Koffa in Grand Kru County and its twelve traditional communities including the construction of clinics, revamping of Hospitals, construction of Technical College, Elementary and High   schools some rehabilitation of farms to market roads, installing solar panels and among others

Hanson Doe recounted that most of the employees assigned at the clinics and schools in Grand Kru County have been personally paid by Senator Albert T. Chie and Representative Fonati Koffa, something which according to him, is worth commendations from any well-son and daughter of Grand Kru County

‘There is no need that we feel candidate (s) against the good sons of the county, doing so, means that we are undermining our own progress’ Hanson T. Doe is quoted as saying

Hanson Doe asserted that the people of Grand Kru County are only waiting for October to begin what he called the celebration of the three sons, who he considered as three Hebrew Brothers for their election victories in October of this year, noting the twelve traditional communities has already begun endorsement activities across the county for the three sons

He revealed that since the establishment of Grand Kru County in 1984, the county can now boast of and can be compared with any county in the country due to the level of development that is taking place and ongoing

‘The people of Grand Kru County did not make any mistake to vote for Senator Albert T. Chie in 2014, President George Weah and District #2 Representative Fonati Koffa in 2017 respectively’ the former students leader and Rights Activate is quoted as saying

The tough-talking student leader from the University of Liberia is recommending to the County’s legislative cuscus and the President of Liberia to remove and replace the local authorities who are not allegedly doing their job (s) properly

Hanson Doe noted that there have been some shots coming from the county’s local authorities headed by Superintendent Doris Ylatun, development superintendent, Paramount, and clean chiefs who are not performing the tasks given to them to serve their people adequately.

He said the development activities should not be left with the central government alone, nothing that is why other people were appointed to help at the local level, saying those who are given the opportunity to serve their people at the local level are allegedly reneging to do their work

Hanson T. Doe spoke to this paper via mobile Phone from the Ivorian commercial Capitol Abidjan on January 11, 2023, in Monrovia.
