PRESTIGIOUS INDIAN UNIVERSITY HONORED AMOS SAWYER COLLEGE DEAN WITH TOP-NOTCH PERFORMANCE AWARD

I’m beyond grateful to be honored with top-notch performance award and received an international recognition from the distinguished Sharda University in New Delhi, India. The award was presented to by Dr. Sibaram Khara, Vice Chancellor, Sharda University in the presence of Dr. Yatendra Kumar Gupta, Vice Chairman, Sharda group of Companies and other top personalities including Deans, Chairpersons, Directors, Professors and faculty members of the institution. The ceremony took place on 12 July 2024 at the institute’s world class auditorium during the official end of Sharda University two-week MDP workshop for faculty members. While on Wednesday, 31 July 2024,  Dr. Ashok Danyani, President, International Relations of Sharda Group of Companies and University, through Mr. Sachin Saini, Manager of the International Division presented Certificate of Appreciation to me at a program held at Sinkor Palace in Congo Town, Monrovia.

It’s a privilege to be recognized by the authorities of such a great Indian university (Sharda University) of high academic standards and globally recognized. I am pleased to be part of a team that strives for excellence in academic environment. Let it be noted that I am touched by the support of our hard working chairpersons and coordinators of the Amos C. Sawyer College of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Liberia.  Teamwork makes the dream work;  I trust that together, we’re achieving great things at ACS College.”

I’m grateful to everyone for the support to move our great ACS College forward for the greater good of the institution. To Sharda University authorities: Thank you for your recognition, I’m committed to delivering high-quality work and continuing to contribute to the success of the institution and will do my best to bring pride to the University in my role as Sharda University Ambassador to the Republic of Liberia and as Sharda University Coordinator for West Africa. I am grateful for the new task  ahead to perform this added role.

Presenting the top-notch performance award to Dr. Gray, Dr. Sibaram Khara, Vice Chancellor, Sharda University said: We’re incredibly grateful to have you on board.” He continued: Your consistent dedication to excellence sets a shining example for everyone on the team and you have been very helpful in guiding Liberian students to study in India at Sharda University to acquire the higher education in several fields of studies; your willingness to go above and beyond to help your colleagues and fellow Liberians has not gone unnoticed. He further said:  Your top-notch performance not only meets but exceeds our expectations, your exceptional hard work and outstanding results consistently elevate the performance Liberian students at the university, adding that: Your focus and dedication have immensely contributed significantly to our success in Liberia.

Currently, there are more than 60 Liberian students attending at Sharda University in India. While the school enrolled the highest number of foreign students in India, with students from about 96 countries across the world. The fruitful academic ties between University of Liberia and Sharda University provide unique and life touching opportunity which guarantee attractive and concrete academic and medical benefits including scholarships, exchange of faculty, staffs and students and the establishment of centers of excellence in various fields and the construction of a teaching hospital.
