The Acting Secretary General of the Press Union of Liberia Akoi M. Baysah, Jr has been selected as one of the influencers on the campaign aimed at raising awareness about Intellectual Property (IP) in Africa.
“We are delighted to share some exciting news with you. You have been selected as one of the influencers we are eager to collaborate with for an upcoming campaign”.
“The local European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) office in your market has identified you as a trusted influencer/journalist in your field to help raise awareness about the importance of intellectual property rights in empowering these businesses,” the nomination letter noted.
The PUL Acting Secretary General will join other IP influencers across Africa to create public awareness to attract innovators, people with business interest, legal matters education, music amongst others.
“The campaign aims to raise awareness about intellectual property (IP) in Africa, targeting your audience, which includes individuals interested in business, legal matters, startups, entrepreneurship, education, and music, particularly those with an interest in IP”, it further lamented.
Intellectual property plays an important role in promoting innovation and creativity, particularly among small businesses in Africa.
