SHARDA UNIVERSITY PRESIDENT ARRIVES FOR TALKS WITH UL PRESIDENT, SEVERAL MINISTERS

MONROVIA – The President of Sharda University and Sharda Group of Companies in New Delhi, India, Prof. Dr. Ashok Daryani has arrived in Liberia as guest of his Liberian counterpart, Prof. Dr. Julius Julukon Sarwolo Nelson, President of the University of Liberia.

Upon arrival at RIA on Tuesday at 6 pm, the distinguished Indian Scholar and Professor, Dr. Daryani was received by the Dean of the Amos C Sawyer College of Social Sciences and Humanities, Associate Prof Dr Josephus M Gray, on behalf of UL President, Dr. Nelson.

While in the country, Dr. Daryani and Dr. Nelson will exchange notes and have a fruitful discussions that benefit both the University of Liberia and Sharda University.

He will also interact with Deans, Academic Directors, Chairpersons and the leadership of ULFA and ULSA and students of UL.

According to his official itinerary, Dr. Daryani will also hold a meeting with UL President’s cabinet and pay a courtesy call on Indian Ambassador in Monrovia.

The Sharda University President’s official trip includes courtesy calls on the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Agriculture, Education, Commence and Industry, National Investment Commission, and Chamber of Commerce.

Others include the Executive Director, Higher Education Commission, and will tour UL campuses and the JFK Medical facilities, respectively.

Before his departure from the county, Dr. Nelson and Dr. Daryani will formally sign the UL-Sharda University Joint Commission.
