Maryland County District #1, Representative aspirant Stephena Tocquie has expressed regrets and sorrow about the murder of former Chief Justice Gloria Musu Scott’s daughter, Charloe Musu who was killed by unknown men on February 22, 2023, at her Brewerville residence.
Miss. Charloe Musu’s murder occurred between 10 to 10 PM on the date mentioned above in the Sheriff Gas Station Community in District 17, Montserrado County.
During the attack, Madam Scott reportedly used pepper spray to escape after one of the robbers attempted to stab her to death. She, however, escaped unharmed and migrated to another residence in the area.
Madam Tocquie, however, described the Weah-Taylor administration as irresponsible on grounds that they do not have the citizens at heart.
According to her, the Weah-led administration is allegedly interested in looting the resources of the country.
The Representative aspirant branded the CDC government as corrupt-minded public officials, who she said only intend to silence the ordinary people because they want to remain in power perpetually.
Adding, she wants the Liberian people to vote the CDC government out of power in the October elections because according to her they are heartless.
“President George Weah does not deserve the opportunity given him by the Liberian power. He needs to be booted out of power…,” Stephena Tocquie stressed.
According to her, the best way for the country to move forward is to vote Weah and his team out; stressing that the citizens deserve better lives.
‘I feel upset when I hear people saying “Weah 12 years”, are you kidding me?” While some Liberians think President George Weah deserves 12 years when Weah’s administration failed to provide good health, safe drinking water, stable electricity, and others.
She alleged that investors have turned their backs on Liberia due to what she called allegedly corruption by the CDC-led administration.
Accordingly, she added it is frustrating for the Liberians to be made beggars under the CDC-led government on a daily basis…
The Representative aspirant then cautioned the Liberians not to be carried away by the CDC government’s empty promises.
She called on the opposition’s bloc to hold together if they must defeat the CDC-led administration in this year’s presidential election in October.
At the same time, she stressed the need for women to participate in every aspire of society which she said will help move the country forward in terms of development, saying, “Women bear the greatest responsibility in the country in terms of challenges.”
“Corruption has eaten the fabric of the country allegedly under males dominant leadership over the years. I am encouraging female counterparts to stand up and help move the country forward”.
Meanwhile, the Maryland county District #1 representative aspirant has reiterated calls that she will contest as an independent candidate in the pending 2023 elections.
