MONROVIA – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has indefinitely suspended Dr. Adams Lincoln, Deputy Director General for Administration at the National Public Health Institute of Liberia (NPHIL), amid allegations of unauthorized removal of institutional property.
The Executive Mansion, in a press release issued Wednesday, February 12, 2025, stated that Dr. Lincoln’s suspension takes immediate effect and comes after a review of the allegations and a resolution from NPHIL’s Board of Directors. He will remain suspended without pay and benefits pending the outcome of an investigation by the Board, the General Services Agency (GSA), and the Liberia National Police.
As part of the suspension, Dr. Lincoln is required to turn over all institutional assets in his possession to Mr. Mohammed Kiadli, who has been designated as Acting Deputy Director General for Administration.
President Boakai emphasized that his administration remains committed to transparency, accountability, and good governance in all public institutions. The suspension marks the latest in a series of actions taken by the government to reinforce ethical standards within public service.
