MONROVIA – The Executive Chairperson of the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC), Cllr. Alexandra Kormah Zoe, recently met with Madam Linda Mayberry, the INL Criminal Justice Subject Matter Expert, at the US Embassy in Liberia. This meeting marked a significant step in enhancing international collaboration in the fight against corruption.
Madam Mayberry initiated the discussions, recognizing the importance of engaging with the LACC to address critical law enforcement issues. The dialogue highlighted the need for transparency and accountability within Liberia’s law enforcement agencies, underscoring the pivotal role of the LACC in driving these efforts.
During the meeting, various topics were explored, including the current state of law enforcement in Liberia. Madam Mayberry will conduct a thorough assessment of the current INL Law Enforcement programs, aiming to pinpoint areas where future INL assistance should be concentrated.
