The Liberia Football Association ended a three-day UEFA Assist leadership retreat at Mamba Hotel on 23 October.
The first day, which brought together officials of women’s clubs from the upper and lower leagues on 20 October, saw theoretical and practical experiences in marketing and communication.
LFA President Mustapha Raji led the executive committee and senior managers to a two-day brainstorming session where everything from governance to administration and from media and marketing to technical development was discussed.
There was a break-up of three groups to discuss the cardinal issues affecting the growth and development of football.
The retreat was facilitated by Geoff Wilson, Jonathan Ford, Marie Cecile Clerc, and Jarmo Matikainen.
About the UEFA Assist
It was adopted by the executive committee, chaired by Aleksander Čeferin, on the basis of Article 2(2) of the UEFA Statutes on 9 December 2016.
It contributes to the global development of football by sharing the experience and know-how of UEFA and its members outside Europe.
It does this by funding a broad range of projects that are implemented in close collaboration with UEFA’s five sister confederations and their member associations. Souce: LFA
