MONROVIA – Former Chief Justice Gloria Musu-Scott today spent hours at the Headquarters of the Liberia National Police to answer to questions relating to the attack on her home that led to the killing of her daughter and injuring another.
Shortly after interaction with Liberian Police officials, Justice Scott expressed her dissatisfaction with the form and manner the LNP is handling the investigation.
Accompanied by a huge legal team that comprised members of the Liberian Bar Association, Justice Scott said, she was shocked that the Police would say she has not been cooperating with them.
She stated that she was now forced to publicly address the media because of the distorted reports that were spewed out to the public.
The Liberian Police had invited the former Liberian Justice Minister and threatened to charge her if she fails to cooperate with them.
Madam Scott told newsmen today that even though she had spoken with the police earlier after the incident, she thought she could not go further in the absence of her lawyers.
At last, she added that at today’s meeting with the Police, she told them what transpired during the evening of the attack; and hope the public will now understand.
