SPEAKER KOFFA ASSURES HOUSE STAFFERS OF ENHANCED WORKING CONDITIONS THROUGH ONGOING REFORMS

Date:

MONROVIA – The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Fonati Koffa, has assured staffers that ongoing reforms within the House will lead to a more vibrant workforce and improved livelihoods. Speaker Koffa emphasized that the reform process is aimed at enhancing working conditions and digitizing the House of Representatives to align with modern standards, ultimately benefiting both staffers and the legislative body.

During an appreciation program held in his honor by the staffers of the House of Representatives on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, in the William R. Tolbert Jr. Joint Assembly Hall, Speaker Koffa highlighted the importance of professionalism and dedication among the staff. He urged them to take their responsibilities seriously to contribute effectively to the success of the reforms.

“My political ambition is not just about becoming Speaker,” Speaker Koffa stated. “It’s about restructuring and improving the lives of every Liberian.” The Grand Kru lawmaker reiterated his commitment to the welfare of the staffers and the broader mission of the House.

The staffers gathered to express their gratitude to Speaker Koffa for the ongoing reforms, which include salary increments and the creation of a better working environment. These changes are part of a broader effort to modernize the House of Representatives and ensure it meets current demands and realities.
