The people of Tarjuowon, under the banner of the Tarjuowon Global Alliance, congratulate President Joseph Nyuma Boakai for the nomination of their eminent daughter, Hon. Annie Pobleh, as Superintendent of Tarjuowon Statutory District.
The citizens say Superintendent Pobleh’s appointment by President Boakai is highly commendable, and is timely, as Tarjuowon Statutory District had been without a legitimate leadership since the advent of the new Unity Party administration nearly a year now.
Indeed, President Boakai made no mistake in nominating Ms. Pobleh because she is a perfect fit for the job, being an astute administration, experienced bureaucrat and woman of peace and development.
After the 2023 elections, Tarjuowon desperately longs for peace, reconciliation and development, and the nominated Superintendent has demonstrated over the years to be a popular female leader with all the qualities required, including healing the wounds of the past.
The Tarjuowon people also thanked the Sinoe Legislative Cause for their renewed cooperation with, and support to, the district, pledging unflinching solidarity to the leadership of the County towards all-inclusive and participatory development and peace.
The citizens also implore the Liberian Senate to consummate the confirmation of the new Superintendent, which will set the stage for the incoming leadership to begin the scrupulous implementation of Government’s flagship development program, the ARREST Agenda.
