MONROVIA – In a heartwarming gesture of support for higher education, the Dr. Amos Claudius Sawyer Educational Foundation has awarded Miss Beatrice Snyder, a physically challenged graduate with a BA degree in English, a fully funded scholarship to pursue her master’s studies at the University of Liberia Graduate School.
The announcement was made today by Mrs. Thelma E. Duncan Sawyer, widow of the late Dr. Amos Claudius Sawyer, during the Annual Academic Recognition and Honoring program hosted by the leadership of the Amos C. Sawyer College of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Liberia.
